Bird Without Feathers

I cut the feather and the words apart on the stamp Heart Without Dreams.  I used a Versamark pad first and then used a Kaliedacolor pad to ink up the feather.  I stamped it randomly on white card stock.  After covering it with clear embossing powder, I heat set the images.  I spritzed Shimmering Bliss over the images and wiped off excess ink from the embossed images.  I stamped the verse on a separate piece of card stock and sponged color on it.

Quoth The Raven, "Nevermore"

The Ephemeral Crow is very appropriate for this time of year.  After stamping the crow I die cut a circle  post it note and layered it where I wanted it to be the moon behind the crow.  Then I sponged navy ink over all the rest of the crow.  I removed the circle and place the rest of the post it note over the navy ink around the crow, and sponged in yellow for the moon.

The background is NOT a stamp.  I googled the poem by Edgar Allan Poe and chose section to print out on white card stock.  I then used the Cloud Edger  stencil from A Colorful Life Designs to create the clouds over the poem.  This is by no means the entire poem as it is long! I used navy and a grayish green and a gray ink colors to create the clouds.  

Then to top it off, I gave it a quick spritze of Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper.

Lose My Mind

I stamped Seashells and Coral with white pigment ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  Then I sprayed it several shades of Shimmering Bliss sprays.   And added embossing glaze over the top of that.  It gives a rich deep color.   I did the same techniques with Find My Soul.

Heart Without Dreams

I used  Heart Without Dreams  adding ink to the stamp with an old Kaliedacolor pad.  First I added Versamark ink to the stamp before adding the colored ink.  Then I added iridescent clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.  I used Ink Blending Brushes   to add color through the Circle Mosaic Stencil from A Colorful Life Design.

I used Paint Rings and Life is a Balance to create this card.  To add the color with a foiling technique I used the foiling technique shown by Pat Huntoon in this blog post:  TJ Inkspirations: Using Transfer Gel with Stamps and Foil.  Pat describes how to do this technique far better than I could.  Then I spritzed it with a light spray of Thulian Pink Shimmering Bliss Spray.

Stand Tall

 The Modern Circles set is so versatile.  I used the large blank flat circle as a reverse image stamp!!  Have you ever done that?   I inked up  the giraffes in Stand Tall  and then I stamped them on the large blank circle!  The image was then transferred to the other stamp. I stamped that reverse image from the large blank circle on white card stock.  I used a die to cut the stamped circles out. 

For the background I used Calligraphy Loops  and used the Ink Blending  Brushes to add color through the Ferns stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.

An Adventure

My first card uses Modern Circles to create pumpkins,  and Life is Beautiful.  I also used the Cloud Edger stencil from A Colorful Life Designs

This cat set has some really funny sayings that will appeal to cat lovers.  Kitty Mug Shot is just cute!! I paired it with Brickwork.   To get this variations in color, I first placed my stamp in a stamping platform.  I then inked it with a brick colored ink.  I kept applying a couple of other ink colors  and finally burnished it with a small amount of a pale saffron yellow color.  I used Copic markers to color the cat.

I used Leaf Circles and Circle Happy Halloween to create this card.  Both elements were spritzed with green Shimmering Bliss Spray and then sponged with deep purple ink on the edges.
