This would make a great birthday card or a graduation card. I have a high school senior who will be graduating so I am thinking ahead!

I stamped Great Things with black Memento ink.  I used a blending brush and applied yellow ink, and then with a different blending brush I applied orange ink.  I looked through some of the  various background paper in my "stash" - I am sure you have one too!  I found this paper from Club Scrap -- it is a very, very old paper in my stash.

This is a card I created backk in August but never published it.   So I used Red Lipstick Day - and I cut off the verse but saved it for later use.  The verse is Too Young.   I layered it all on this beautiful floral scrapbook paper.

Signature Color

I  used the lady from The Rules.  She is colored with Copic markers.  Then I used glitter pens to add a clear glitter sheen -- of course!  The sentiment Glitter is perfect for this image!

I  used Tea Collage  for the background and I used Copic markers to color the image. Then I stamped Starry Happy New Year with Versafine black ink and heat embossed  it on vellum using detail clear embossing powder.

A Determined Woman

The feminine backgroud is simply background paper.  No matter what a womon does - they have to be determined to suceed or they will not.  Determined to Rise illustrates that feeling in a wonderful way.  It was stamped in black Versafine ink several times in  my stamping platform to increase the ink color depth.  Then I heat embossed it with detail clear embossing powder.

Sleigh Bells Ring

I created a shaker card for  you here.  I used All About Winter for the background.  Then the focal sentiment is Sleigh Bells Ring.  Before adhereing all of the layers to to the fnal base card, I used a clear envelope and added the "snow."  Then I folded over any excess of the clear envelope to the back and then adhered it to the base card.

I decided to use a monochromatic theme with this card. The background is Beaded Curtain and stamped with blue dye based ink.  Determined to Rise is the focal image layered above the background.  Dye cut layered leaves were added for interest.

When I read this sentiment, New Maid,   I thought of  The Happy Housewife! She is colored with Copic markers. The background is Washed. I used an old Kaliedacolor ink pad to ink the image.

Nicely Nifty November Stamps and Sale
