I know that Pat Huntoon (the owner of Technique Junkies Stamps) has a goal to find the best images she can to create wonderful cards that can be shared with others! Now she didn't tell me that -- but I have known Pat for years. We have talked and I know she is always on the look out for wonderful images to entice us with. And Pat is starting out the year with wonderful new images for January 2018! You will want to start this Technique Junkies Blog Hop at the Design Team blog - TJ Blog - https://techniquejunkies.blogspot.com/2018/01/technique-junkies-january-new-release.html.
If you arrived at my blog from Ro's blog - https://rodonner.blogspot.com/2018/01/happy-new-year-blog-hop.html then you are hopping along correctly.
Please be sure and go to every blog on the blog hop as I have seen the cards the various designers have made and they are awesome! We have some new design team members as well. You will want to see the styles and designs of Ceal, Lee Ann, Stephanie, Janelle, and Lynda.
I have used two new stamps on this card and one tried and true! The little bunny is from Happy Winter Wishes - www.techniquejunkies.com/happy-winter-wishes-set-of-3/. The background is called Harlequin Love - www.techniquejunkies.com/love-harlequin/. The verse is Love Complete - http://techniquejunkies.com/love-complete/ . I used my Copic markers to color her in, and the verse is heat embossed. I used Wink of Stella on her scarf and i loosely sketched in the mounds of snow.
My next card use two stamps. The verse is the new one from the set called Butter My Butt - www.techniquejunkies.com/butter-my-butt-set-of-8/. The lady is from the set called The Rules - http://techniquejunkies.com/the-rules/ . The lady is colored with my Copic markers.
.
This card uses three stamps. The background is called Love Overlay - http://techniquejunkies.com/love-overlay/. It is stamped with white pigment ink and heat embossed with white powder. The heart is die cut from the stamp called Love Heart - http://techniquejunkies.com/love-heart/ . I stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with red glitter embossing powder. The verse is the new stamp - Truly, Madly, Deeply - www.techniquejunkies.com/truly-madly-deeply/ and is heat embossed with white embossing powder. A lovely Valentine!
My last card for you today is a "Z Card." You pull on the left and the card forms a "Z shape." I used Harlequin Love to create the background paper sections - www.techniquejunkies.com/love-harlequin/. Then I used a stamp called The Kiss - www.techniquejunkies.com/the-kiss/ . Punched out hearts from glimmer paper and a red gingham ribbon finish the card.
You will truly want to look over all of the lovely stamps and choose several stamps and take advantage of the 15% off sale of new stamps but you may also use the TJ10Judy and get 10% off of anything else in her store.
Have a great day and go shopping at http://techniquejunkies.com/ and then get inky!
