Christmas Bouquet

I inked up this lovely Winter Bouquet Technique Junkies stamp with a dirty Versamark ink pad.   Why did I use a dirty pad?  So I could see the image in white card stock!  Then I used a tiny sponge and applied different colors of Pan Pastel chalks.

I used Merry Christmas 2 for the greeting. I heat embossed it with detail black embossing powder.

Playful Snowman

I stamped this cute Snowman  and used 3 different stencils from A Colorful Life Stencils to fill in the background.  I used Copic markers to color in the snowman.

Angels Declared

Although the 30 Days of Christmas is over  I still have several Christmas cards to show you.  This is actually a flap card.  the bottom of the angel panel lifts up and the greeting is underneath,

Tone on Tone Ornaments

I saw a similar card using different stamps somewhere on the internet.  I don't know where. 

I used the snowflake ornaments from the Technique Junkies Christmas Ornaments Trio set.  The background is stamped with Snow Swirls Background stamp.  The greeting is from Gifts of Christmas set of 5. The greeting was heat embossed with detail black embossing powder.  The silver thread and bow are attached with glue dots.  I attached the string. Then tied a bow and stuck it down.

I stamped the background stamp and the ornament stamp one shade darker of the blue ink.  Then I spritzed everything with Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper.  I love this stuff.

This card is beautifully shimmery!

Christmas Rose

The Technique Junkies Christmas Rose is so pretty I just had to have it!  I paired with the verse from Victorian Greetings.   The rose and the background is painted with Twinkling H2Os.

Day 28 of the Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas

I wanted to have a tree with a lot of cardinals in it so I inked up the Technique Junkies stamp Partridge in a Pear Tree, and then wiped away all of the partridges. I added green to the leaves with a marker. After stamping, I die cut a bunch of red birds.  I die cut some grass, added my greeting from Victorian Greetings, sponged around the edges, and finished layering the card.

I had some of this lovely pine background paper and the Cardinal stamp would be beautiful on it.  I stamped and watercolored the image and then fussy cut the cardinal and some of the branches.  I die cut some pine needles and adhered them to the card front.  Then I used Puffy Snow liquid and heat embossed it.  The greeting is from Victorian Greetings - set of 6.

I used Angel Choir and All is Calm stamps for this card.  The angel choir was heat embossed with detail black embossing powder.   I water colored the angels. The verse was heat embossed on a small scrap of paper and adhered to some glitter paper.

Day 15 of Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas

The 30 Days of Christmas are marching right along!

Sometimes simple cards are just the right thing to do.  Especially when you are making Christmas cards -- easy to make multiples of are a good idea!  The scene is actually done with an embossing folder. I sponged dye based ink over the embossed sections adding color.  The verse is All is Calm. I wanted it to be heat embossed.  I first inked the stamp with Versamark, and then inked it with the same brown ink I sponged with.  Then i stamped, colored it with clear embossing powder, and heated it.  You can do this same thing with any color dye based ink. 

Lastly I spritzed the card front with Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper.

My first card is for Thanksgiving  I used an embossing folder and sponged over three fall colors.  Then I used Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper spray!   The greeting is Happy Thanksgiving. It was heat embossed on yellow vellum and adhered with my Xyron machine.

This stamps is called Brighten Your Path   It was stamped with Memento ink and colored Copic markers.  The saying just resonates with me.

This Christmas card uses four Technique Junkies stamp sets:  Let's Chill (from November), Merry Christmas 2, Retro Sparkles, and Fir Forest. The penguins were colored in with Copic markers.
