This slim line card is 8 1/2 inches long.  I scored it at 3 7/8 since it was 7 3/4 inches wide before  scoring.  I stamped Every Bird 3 times and watercolored them.  I embossed the verse from the stamp set for Every Bird.  I die cut 3 green vellum wreaths for the 3 windows.

Happy Birthday

I stamped and heat embossed Vintage Daisy Collage and then painted it with Twinkling H2Os.  The verse Increasing With Value  was heated embossed on white card stock scrap and then die cut it.  I used the same die and cut it on blue card stock.  I cut that in half and then adhered those two pieces to the verse.  A great birthday card!

Without Change

I stamped Without Change  with black dye based ink.   Then I used Copic markers to color the butterfly and highlight the leaves and the butterfly at the bottom.  I used some background paper from my stash. I applied some Nuvo drops here and there.  They dry to touch in about 30 minutes and in 12 hours they will be hard.

In My Prayers

Slimline cards are all the rage these days.  There are dies and more dies for these cards.  What there doesn't seem to be is a standard measurement for Slimline cards.  I now own several dies for these cards and not one of them comes with a measurement for the finished card.  So I will tell you what the measurements are for this card.  The base card is 8 1/2 by 7 1/2.  Then the 7 1/2 is scored at 3 3/4 for a folded card that is 3 3/4 by 8 1/2.  

I used Hillside Village for inside the squares.  I had to stamp the homes twice. I used two shades of Shimmering Bliss on the stamped image of Hillside Village.  I used Swag Net stencil.   In My Prayers was stamped in black pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Bad Cattitude!!

Dotted Squares was embossed with a soft blue embossing powder.  The focal image is Kitty Mug Shot.  I heat embossed the image with black ink and clear embossing powder.   I used Twinkling H2Os to paint the kitty, and sponged the background with blue ink.

Garden of Life

This card uses Spring Flowers and a verse from In Full Bloom Sentiments.  I colored the image with Copic markers.  The Cloud Edger stencil was used for the sky.  I had these tiny little flower sequin like embellishments.  I attached them here and there.

Hillside Z-Fold Card

Usually Z-fold cards are landscape orientation, But I wanted to try a "Portrait" card using Hillside Village.   I chose to watercolor the homes in the same color range from the background paper.  The two verses are from Something Will Grow and from Modern Encouragements.

The measurements are: Base card is 9 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 .    Score at 4 1/4  and 2  3/4.  

The tag is 3  inches by 2 inches.  But you can make the tag to fit  whatever verse you wish to put on the tag.  Measure and use whatever background paper you wish.

Mom Words

I used Dotted Blooms for the main background. I burnished several colors of ink over the white heat embossed flowers.  I rubbed off ink of the white embossing powder.  I used a curvy die to split the image into two parts which were trimmed off later on.  Then I used Because I said So!  I stamped in black pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I burnished a wide section with yellow ink.  Then I positioned the two sections of Dotted Blooms and trimmed off the necessary excess.  I had stamped The Happy Housewife  on white card stock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder over the black pigment ink.  I painted her with Twinkling H2Os.  I fussy cut her out and adhered her to a lime green card stock and fussy cut around her.

Increasing in Value

I used this adorable bird from Every Bird to water color a robin.  Then I just flicked some thinned black paint for flecks all over the focal image.  The verse is Increasing In Value.  It's a great birthday card verse.  The background is a piece of background paper from my stash.

Venice Hillside

The new Hillside Village stamp  reminds me of Europe.   I spritzed it with 2 shades of  Shimmering Bliss - Mindaro and Ocean Depth.  So I decided to pair it with Venice Canal. I colored it with Twinkling H2Os.  I used the Cloud Edger stencil for the sky.  I heat embossed Life is Beautiful on vellum.  I tore the vellum and ran through the small X  xyron machine to add adhesive to the back.

Dancing Away

I used two Technique Junkies stamps for this card.  The background is Dotted Blooms which I inked with white pigment ink and heat embossed with detail white embossing powder.  Then I spritzed several colors of Shimmering Bliss in different areas.  Please remember to not shake these up and down but roll them back and forth in the palms of your hands.  This prevents the mica from clogging the nozzle.  

The focal image is  How Far You've Come.  I did the same technique as described above with detail white embossing powder and various colors of Shimmering Bliss.  

Why do I say "detail" white embossing powder?  That is because detail embossing powder is a "finer" powder is when it melts under the heat of the heat gun it melts with more detail.  That is especially important with words so the letters do not melt into each other.    White embossing powder can be hard to find in detail, so if you find it, buy it!
