Happy Easter

 I always make and send Christmas cards.  I send hand stamped birthday cards to family.  And I try to send a few cards out at other holidays but not very many. I have sent 6 Easter cards this year. The focal part is a cross die. Everything else is from Technique Junkies.  I used 3 Colorful Life Stencils, two shades of Shimmering Bliss, 2 shades of Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, and of the Happy Easter stamp. I used coordinating bits of bling here and there on the cards.

I used Vivid Volt and Thulian Pink Shimmering Bliss Sprays.  I used Lilac Lavender and Citrus Green Nuvo Embellishment Mousse.  The three A Colorful Life Stencils were Circle Mosaic Stencil,  Scribble Roses Stencil, and Primitive Batik stencil from A Colorful Life Stencils.


I lay the stencil down over white card stock and sprayed the green towards the bottom and the purplish color towards the top. Before removing the stencil I lay a second piece of white card stock on the stencil to absorb the extra ink pooling on top of the stencil.   I removed the stencil and wiped it clean.   I allowed each piece of card stock to dry.  Then I used a stiff stencil brush and used the coordinating colors of mousse to fill in the "white" spaces on the card stock left by the stencil.

I stacked two of the die cut crosses to add more dimension to this focal part of the card.  The Easter cards were mailed out on Saturday, April 13.
