Marvelous March! Marvelous New Stamps!

I know that every month I say there are some wonderful stamps in this month's release.  But this month has some of my favorites on the Technique Junkie's website!  I know we all have different tastes but please have a look  at these beautiful stamps!  We have a Blog Hop today so start your  Eye Candy viewing here on the Design Team Blog!  And just a reminder all of the Technique Junkies Stamps March release are automatically 15% off -- no code is needed.  And when you use this coupon -- TJ10Judy -- you will get an additional 10% off!  What a bargain!!  😊

My first card uses Poppy Teapot , and words from Sentimental Sayings.  It is water colored and misted with water.  I used a distressing tool to distress the edges. And I added a few tiny beads for an accent.

For this card I used  You Are Old and Watercolor Flowers.  I used a stamp positioner (such as a MISTI) to create this card.  I used a pale blue card stock for the base layer. I applied color with markers direct to the stamp and stamping it over and over until I got the depth of various colors I wanted to achieve.  Then inked up the stamp a couple of times with Versamark and stamped it.  Then I reinked the stamp the more Versamark, and restamped it.  Then I covered it with clear embossing powder and heat set it.  While the embossing powder was still hot, I dipped this into my container of clear embossing powder and heat set it again.  That added a smooth depth to the embossing powder and flowers.   I stamped the greeting on another piece of the same pale blue cardstock as the base layer with black Versafine ink.  I covered it with black detail embossing powder and heat set it.  Then I carefully trimmed each line of the verse and layered each of the four parts on coordinating colors of cardstock.  Some of the pieces were adhered directly to the base layer, and some were popped up  with dimensional foam tape.  I spritzed the card front with  Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Spray.  It is a wonderful birthday card for those of us who are "Chronologically Mature" and have a sense of humor!

My last card for today uses Watercolor Birds and You Add Magic  from the March Release.  It is a wonderful birthday card  for family, good friends, and grandchildren!!!   I used Twinkling H2Os to paint the scene.  Then I used  the Arrowhead Chevron Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.  I used ink blending brushes and ink to add color through the stencil.  Then I added the flowers to the tree branches.  I spritzed some Thulian Pink Shimmering Bliss on my solid work surface and added a little water to dilute it some.  Then I carefully painted the flowers  with this mixture.  I added the verse across the card front and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

I hope you have enjoyed this Eye Candy on my blog today.  Please visit all of the blogs of the Design Team as they have wonderful cards for you to see.

Oh Judy, I can tell how much love went into these images that you like so much. The teapot looks so nice with the technique you used. The second card jumps out at me with the cool way your wording is placed, and your last card will be great for your grandchildren. Good pairing of stamps.

Judy-I second Beth‘s comments exactly! The first and third card are so beautiful they should be your heirloom cards! The second is fun and will be enjoyed by its recipient… But it will be a long time-if ever!- before I get over your gorgeous your teapot card! Just WOW
