#Summer Challenge - Mermaid on A Rock

I used three Technique Junkies Stamps:

• Whitecaps - I stamped the waves in white pigment ink about half way up on the card.  I heat embossed it with white detail embossing powder.  I used sponges and finger daubers to add ink to the ocean water.  Then I buffed off  any ink on the embossed  areas.  I used blue ink on the envelope. Then I used a sponge and various colors of ink with my home made cloud stencil for the sky.
• Mermaid on Rock - I painted her with Twinkling H2Os.  Then I fussy cut her out leaving cardstock below the rock. I used my Slice exacto knife to cut a space in the ocean to slip the cardstock below the rock through.   I attached the mermaid with adhesive. 
• Stir Your Soul -  I cut the wording in half so I could make it fit in places where a long sentiment will not work.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment after I firmly attached the mermaid.
