Doesn't this rooster remind you of one on a cereal box? It did me so I tried to color him very similar to my memory of that cereal box. I used blending brushes and added some highlights with Copic markers. Morning on the Farm and a verse from Lighthouse sentiments are the stamps I used. They are both from the July release.

Like a cereal box indeed. This is such a funky stamp and looks awesome with your colours against the black (I did the same but used neon watercolours). Your vellum is perfect for a sentiment. It allows the cute stamp to be shown off.
