 used parts of one stamp from Light of Faith, and the greeting Retro Merry Christmas.  Both of which were heat embossed.

Friends Along the Way

I used two stamps and heated embossed both images with clear embossing powder.  Then I sponged various colors over the images.  I used Ephemera Collage and Appreciate the Journey.

All That Is Gold

Night Snow is one of those classic snowy scene stamps.  I stamped it on off white card stock.  The dark ink makes it almost look like it is yellow, but it truly is off white.    I saw the p1oem on Facebook and thought it went beautifully with this Night Snow stamp.  I typed the poem and printed it on vellum.  Then I quickly heat set it so it would dry before I tore it around the edges.  Since ink dries on vellum VERY slowly, heat setting it was necessary.

What Courage Is!!

 Courage is something we have heard a lot about lately.   There are many reasons to summon courage and bring it to bear in our individual circumstances.   But this definition on Courage 1 is certainly true. I used  Stitches, Set of 6 to create the background frame for the focal image.   The lion is colored with Copic markers.  I sponged around the edges.

Along the Way

I used 3 shades of Oxide Distress Inks and Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper to create  the background using an old technique from the Technique Junkie newsletter called Antique Glimmers.  I used the residue to create the second piece where the greeting is stamped.  I heat set both in order to be sure the oxide was fully set and I could stamp Memento ink on top of the ink.  The oxide inks have resin in the inks and must be heat set before stamping most inks on top. 

The Stitches, set of 6 created the background.  It would be impossible to get such straight lines without using a stamping platform.  I lined up the stitches stamps in about the center of the platform lid.  Then  I just turned the card stock and stamped again.  I repeated this step until the background was fully stamped. Appreciate the Journey is the greeting.

Thinking of You

Just Because

Sometimes we need to send a card "just because."    Just because we want to encourage someone, we want to let someone know we are thinking of them, or we want to let someone know they are special to us!!  Or it could be we want to send a note card for any number of reasons.  

I used 2 new November  Technique Junkies release stamps:  Ephemera Collage and one stamp from Four Little Sentiments.  I heat embossed the collage stamp with white embossing powder and heat set.  Then I used several Distress Oxide ink pads in various areas using blending brushes.  Then I spritzed Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper all over to give this card a delightful shimmer.

A Split Stencil Christmas Card

I used the Split Bling Swirl Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs to create this card.     I used colorful mica spray for each side.  I used Pixie spray to hold the stencil halves in place.   I added Retro Merry Christmas in the middle of the card.  Then I added a few sequins here and there for some added bling.

Nicely Nifty November Stamps and Sale

Happy November!  Happy new Technique Junkies stamps.  This is the last new stamp release for 2021.  And if you thought the last Christmas stamps were released in October, you are wrong.  There is a delightful mix of Christmas and non-Christmas stamps in the November release.  There are several I really want and wasn't able to get already!  But I will!!   And you can see all of  the new stamps here.

My first card to share features a beautiful 3D embossing folder which I spritzed with Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper Spray.  Then I added a lovely script Retro Merry Christmas at the bottom.  I paired it all with  a beautiful  plaid designer paper.  Simple but beautiful.

My second card features the beautiful Night Snow combined with Retro Merry Christmas over the picket fence!  I spritzed it all with the beautiful Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper.  This makes a truly lovely Christmas card.
