Floral Hello Card

  There are no new Technique Junkies for December, but look for new stamps on January 1, 2022.   However, I will be posting at least twice a week in December.   And if I have used Technique Junkies stamps or items, I will let you know.  

Like many of you, I own more than Technique Junkies stamps.  This card was created  with die cuts, shimmering mist sprays, adding color here and there with blending brushes,  and I added some metallic sprinkles  here and there!

A Wildflower Day

Like many of you, I own more than Technique Junkies stamps.  I stamped Watercolor Flowers and spritzed the background with a gray blue  shimmering mist.    The words are not TJ.  I die cut floral images and using blending brushes added color to the die cut flowers.  Some linen thread at the bottom finishes the card.  My granddaughter liked this card on her birthday!!

Split Panel Poinsettia Card

 Each panel is the same size - 1 3/4 inches by 5 inches and layered on a slightly larger red panel.  The poinsettia petals are cut from the same die and staggered as they were adhered.  The verse is from Light of Faith, Set of 4.

Musical Poinsettia

  There are no new Technique Junkies for December, but look for new stamps on January 1, 2022.   However, I will be posting at least twice a week in December.   And if I have used Technique Junkies stamps or items, I will let you know.  

I  used several different dies for this card.  For the poinsettia, I first stamped Vintage Music on Vellum with Versamark and heat embossed white embossing powder.  After it had cooled a few minutes I die cut the poinsettia petals and leaves. I also used a dark green vellum for the larger leaves under the white petals.   I used Prills for the center.  I dry embossed the white frame after it was die cut.  If you emboss it first, and then die cut it, the embossed areas will flatten.  I had some organdy  poinsettia petals in my stash, and I used one of those in the stack of petals.  I also used Retro Merry Christmas for the greeting.  I stamped it in Versamark black, and heat embossed in clear embossing powder.

Glittery Ornament

There are no new Technique Junkies for December, but look for new stamps on January 1, 2022.   However, I will be posting several times a week in December.   And if I have used Technique Junkies stamps or items, I will let you know.  

This is a relatively simple card in its layout.  But the ornament is anything but simple.  It is constructed from 3 die cuts layered together.  The bottom and the top are blue glitter paper, and the center is a copper metal paper.  It is called Radiant Ornament (style 57172) and it is from the Blueprint Craft Die Collection.  It is available from several venders.  One is Teaspoon of Fun and that is where I saw it first.  I am not associated with them at all except as a buyer.  

I also used Retro Merry Christmas from Technique Junkies.

Poinsettia Fold Out Card

 

There are no new Technique Junkies for December, but look for new stamps on January 1, 2022.   However, I will be posting at least twice a week in December.   And if I have used Technique Junkies stamps or items, I will let you know.  

Like many of you, I own more than Technique Junkies stamps.   I saw this fold out design on some blog.  I am sorry I don't remember which blog.   The base card is 5 1/2 by 11 inches.  Then you score it at 4 inches,   and then at 1 3/4 inches three times.  The fold out part was 3 inches by 6 inches - scored at 3 inches.  But this part can be adjusted slightly bigger depending on what stamps you will use.  The white card stock for the inside greeting should be slightly smaller than your fold out part so that it is completely covered by the fold out part.  I used several retired and some current stamps from a couple of companies for this card.  

My purpose in sharing this card is not for the stamps but to give you this fold out design.  I used coordinating Christmas plaids of designer papers, but you can choose other papers of course.  These plaids are retired.

A Penguin Christmas

Like many of you, I own more than Technique Junkies stamps.  And this is not a Technique Junkies stamp.  It comes from Mama Elephant and is called "The Penguin's Waddle."  Isn't it cute?  The image is colored with Copic markers. And I used Technique Junkies Retro Merry Christmas on top of the Cloud Edger stencil for the sky.  I used ink blending brushes to apply ink around the stencil.
