I chose a rich raspberry color of card stock and inked the entire stamp IN MY MISTI - with Versamark ink. With large stamps such as this it can be difficult to get an even amount of
Versamark (or any ink!) evenly applied to the card stock. So by using the MISTI, this difficulty is eliminated. http://techniquejunkies.com/misti-most-incredible-stamping-tool-invented/ I just inked it again and was able to stamp in the EXACT same spot. Then the heat embossing with detail gold embossing powder was just perfect! I framed it with gold card stock and the base card is the rich raspberry color. A shimmery gold bow enhances the card.

Very nice Judy. So elegant with the gold. It never occured to me to use my Misti when using VersaMark. Great idea. Nice bow. I need to start adding them to my cards.
This is beautiful, Judy! I always love a dove card. This one has a very nice background. I see it is one stamp all together, but the bird pops out so beautiful!
