Watercolor Christmas - Christmas in July Challenge

And this Christmas card with an unusual stamp, I used Watercolor Flowers.  I heat embossed the image with detail white embossing powder.  Then I used Dragon's Blood Shimmering Bliss and gave it a good coat of this red!  The Merry Christmas die cut in white glitter paper was adhered to red card stock and adhered to the front of the card.  I used a light mist of  Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Spray over all of the front.  After all, Christmas  cards ARE very glimmery, right?

Then I used the Ink Blending Brushes  to add the color on the envelope with the Primitive Batik Stencil from a Colorful Life Designs.

Pat Huntoon, owner of Technique Junkies Stamps, has announced a Christmas in July Challenge.  The Christmas Challenge officially begins on July 17th and will run from July 17 to July 26.  However, she is giving you a special discount of 25% off of all the Christmas category Technique Junkies stamps from July 13 through July 27!   Use the code JULYXMAS.   And Pat Huntoon says, "And what would the holidays be without presents? Every order with a Christmas stamp will also receive a free gift from us, too."

The Christmas Challenge Grand Prize will be ALL of the August Stamps - a value of  $145.00!! WOW!! How awesome is that.  You have the opportunity to order Christmas Stamps now to create cards so you have time to get your order placed and shipped so you can be making Christmas cards for the Challenge!  See Pat Huntoon's post on the Design Team blog here!  That will give you all the details!

I will be sharing some Christmas cards with stamps from the Christmas category (20% off with the code JULYXMAS) from July 13 - to July 31. But there will be some of these cards made with unusual stamps on my blog as well.
