Not An April Fool's Post - But New Stamps and A New Sale!!

The April Technique Junkies stamps are great - so fun, I think you are going to really really like them.  Remember all of the April have an automatic discount of 15% until April 8.    The artwork is just great from all of the designers so please be sure and hop along every blog -- there is a lot of eye candy for you to see.  

My first card  was watercolored.  I used Poppies and Roses and Simply Amazing. After I watercolored the flowers I decided it needed a little shimmer so I grabbed my Dazzle Shimmering Bliss spray and gave it a quick spray.  Then I used a few of my Nuvo Glitter Markers to add some highlights of color here and there.

My next card uses Yellow Brick Road.  I used a piece of background paper that looked like a map, and some card stock that I used with a brick embossing folder.  I sponged some color on the bricks and then spritzed it with Imperial Yellow Shimmering Bliss.

My next card is just plain fun.   I used  a masking technique so I could the doggie from Tail in the Air all in a row!  I added pink cheeks with a Copic marker, and added some dark grey on the doggies with a grey Copic marker. I cut the verse and the doggie apart so I could use them together or separately.   I put the verse inside the card.  I used A Colorful Life Designs Wispy Vines stencil to create the grass.  And I used A Colorful Life Designs Primitive Batik stencil to create the sky.   I used Ink Blending Brushes to add the color through the stencils.
